Combined Search Project
EDSA required an additional service for each of their yellow pages websites (nine) to enable them to provide a 'combined search' field (i.e. single text field intelligent search) for use by browser widgets and other third party websites. EDSA put the project out to two vendors of which First Clarity was one. The second vendor took a week to come back with a proposal and told EDSA that the deliverable would take a month to complete. First Clarity turned the proposal round in one day and delivered the ‘Search box’ in ten days at a cost which was 80% cheaper than the second vendors quote.
